Orion® HandyAvi® Special Edition

NOTE:  This is a special edition of HandyAvi that is provided only for purchasers of the Orion StarShoot AllSky Camera from Orion Telescopes & Binoculars.

The Special Edition software license key is provided only when you purchase an Orion StarShoot AllSky Camera.

(The standard HandyAvi license key and the Orion HandyAvi Special Edition license keys are different, i.e., NOT interchangeable...)

Version 5.0 differences from Version 4.3

  1. File recycling, a Preference setting, now works as advertised and as expected... The new message box that comes up when the system is about to overwrite a file due for recycling is displayed for a few seconds then closes itself so that no user action is required.  (Previous to version 5.0, we had inadvertently used a type of message box that waited for the user to say "OK".)
  2. File recycling is now also active in the Meteor Detect subsystem so that both Time-Lapse processing and Meteor-detect processing can use file recycling.
  3. We added an "Active or Passive" flag to the FTP Settings preference panel.  Some Internet Service Providers apparently do not allow the "Active" mode even though "Active" is supposed to be the default for FTP communications.
